Assalamualaikum to all belovedd youths !

Alhamdulilah our Nur Night was a success and Insha'Allah all of us had gain something from the event. On behalf of Al-Fitwah , I'd like to thanked all of you who came to the event. For those who were unable to attend , not to worry hopefully you'll be able to join us again in our next Qiyam Insha'Allah ! (: Hopefully whatever knowledge that we gained from Ustaz's ceramah will be intact in our mind and hearts.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar : A man said, "O Allah's Apostle! How is the prayer of the night?" He said, "Two Rakat followed by two Rakat and so on, and when you apprehend the approaching dawn, offer one Raka as Witr."

Anyway im proud to announce that Al-Fitwah is organising a Qiyam this upcoming Friday & Saturday . ; 18-19 February 2011 ! This is our first Qiyam of the year. Insha'Allah this event will be an exciting & meaningful one.

DETAILS are as follows...

WHEN : 18 & 19 February 2011. ( FRIDAY & SATURDAY)
TIME : 9PM on 18th Feb to 7.30 AM on Saturday.
THEME : Ya Rasullulah
Where : Al-Mawaddah Mosque
FEE : FREE !
AGE GRP : 13-30 years old.

Insha'Allah in this Qiyam we will instill more knowledge & celebrate the birthday of our beloved Prophet . Lets salawat to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Hope to see you there Insha'Allah.

Salam to all beloved youths !

Alhamdulillah! We're in the month of Rabiulawwal , the month in which our Prophet s.a.w
was born... Do spend some time reading this brief article regarding our second pillar of Islam which is the obligatory prayers that are performed five times a day.

Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Will there remain any impurity on a person who baths five times a day in a river flowing in front of his house?" The people said: "No impurity will remain on him." Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "This is the effect of the five Salaat. By means of it, Allah Ta'ala purifies the performer of all sins."(Bukhari, Muslim).

Translation of the call of prayer :

God is Great.

I testify that there is none worthy of worship except God.

I testify that Muhammad is the messenger of God. I testify that Muhammad is the messenger of God.

Come to prayer!

Come to success!

God is Great!

"Young man, I shall teach you some words [of advice] : Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you. If you ask, ask of Allah; if you seek help, seek help of Allah. Know that if the Nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything, it would benefit you only with something that Allah had already prescribed for you, and that if they gather together to harm you with anything, they would harm you only with something Allah had already prescribed for you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried." ( Ahmad, Tirmidhi).

So what are the Five pillars of Islam?

The Five Pillars of Islam are the framework of the Muslim life. They are the testimony of faith, prayer, giving zakat (support of the needy), fasting during the month of Ramadan, and the pilgrimage to Makkah once in a lifetime for those who are able.
